Summary
Review of the Easter amusement entitled "Love's entertainments," in which one Mr. Love impersonates multiple characters, one of them named "Miss Lexicon". "At one time he appeared before the audience as "Mr. Sombre Dismal," a gentleman who is always grumbling, and at another as Miss Lexicon, a lady who is always talking, and the audience appeared to be greatly amused, both by the continual complaints of the one, and the constant chattering of the other." Love "changed his dress and voice to suit with great celerity. . . ."
