Summary

News report on the events that occured in Prague on the 17th of June: the wife and son of Prince Windischgrätz have been killed by the insurgents, and he has bombarded it since the night of the 16th and issued a statement inviting civilians to leave the city. The Czech insurgents want to keep the population to defend the city: "Very old men, women, and children were permitted to go, but all ablebodied men were kept in the town.  Some men, Count Leo Thun, the head of the Provisional Government, among the number, escaped in women's clothes."
