Summary
"A Soldier in woman's cloaths was brough[t] in custody of a watchman of St. Martin's, who apprehended him the preceding night in the streets behaving in a disorderly manner. Many depredations having lately been committed by persons by such disguise, great pains were taken to ascertain the Prisoner's motives, but nothing satisfactory being obtained, he was delivered over to his regiment, and promises were made to punish him for such unsoldier-like conduct."
