Summary
Review of a "fete" at Frogmore House given by the royal family, with an account of a performance attacking the fashion of masquerade crossdressing: "The company then returned towards the house, stopping once more to hear Mrs. Mattocks, and a dialogue between her and Fawcett, habited as a rustic, which turned on the number of Galas lately given, and the Masquerades, where men appeared as women, and women as men. Mrs. Mattocks made many excellent hits at this abominable fashion."
