Summary
Short theatre society item where the author shows his delight of the performance of Mrs. Gerbini in a male opera role normally sung by a castrato: "We are infinitely delighted with the success of Madame GERBINI, in the Opera-breeches. We see no reason why female singers should not perform all Soprano parts, and disgusting monstrosities be banished from the Stage altogether."
