Summary
Inquest on George Bodle, deceased, during which his grandson Mr. John Bodle is examined regarding his grandfather's death. In his testimony, John Bodle mentions that he was mistaken by a dumb servant girl at his grandfather's house for Mrs. Lear wearing men's clothes: "Sophia and the dumb girl came down together. It was dark, and the dumb girl did not know me. She thought it was Mrs. Lear, dressed in William Baxter's clothes, which she frequently put on."
