Summary
"Two carriages going to the Union Fete, on Monday evening, got so entangled, that by the exertions made to separate them, one was overturned. In it were three Ladies and a Gentleman; John Bull, with his usual gallantry, immediately used his endeavours to extricate the unfortunate fair ones, but was not very well pleased to find his good intentions had been bestowed upon a bearded beauty, for such one of the party was. The Ladies, however, escaped with nothing more than a fright, and some small portion of mud."
