Summary
Inquest on George Bodle, deceased, during which his grandson Mr. John Bodle is examined regarding his grandfather's death. See trial record from 14 December 1833. In his testimony about his visits to his grandfather's house, John Bodle mentions that one time he disguised himself in part by using an item of female attire: "When he sat down to breakfast there was not sufficient sugar, and Betsey fetched some lump sugar from the parlour, concealing it under her apron. He afterwards disguised himself in his grandmother's gown and his grandfather's coat, and went home."
