Summary
Adventurer who married "several persons of both sexes" was tried before the Parliament of Limousin and convicted "of the crimes of bigamy and sacrilege." "Thirteen out of fifteen judges were unanimous in condemning him". He "has lodged an appellatory libel," been transported to Paris the the jail of the Grand Chatelet, and will be tried in November in the Parliament of Paris, which could result in "more severe punishment" of death, the gallies, or life in prison.
