Summary
"A young female" who "calls herself Miss Peat" tricked and robbed a family. "She turns out, however to be the famous Miss Watson, who, about two years ago, visited this city in men's cloaths, and afterwards went to Carlisle, where she was imprisoned for playing off some swindling deceptions there, but soon found means to make her escape."
