Summary
"The impostor in women's cloaths who goes by the name of Gore, and has lately been detected in Ireland, was some time ago in London, where he passed under the same name, and so far imposed upon Mr. Macklin the comedian" by pretending to be a friend of his relatives in Ireland, that he lived with Macklin for "some weeks," after which "he decamped without giving any notice to his benefactor; but what is most extraordinary, he stole nothing."
