Summary
"The celebrated Miss Davies, who committed a late capital robbery in man's apparel, and who was respited by the Judge at Chelmsford, conducts herself with the utmost prudence in the prison of that town, and works assiduously at her needle. The gaudy portrait of her in the printshops by no means resembles her present appearance, which is all modesty and neatness."
