WXDA Record #738
No title.
22 January 1787
Summary
"The Chevalier, or Mademoiselle D'Eon, is still in this country. The occasion of her return to England was some pecuniary dispute with Lord Ferrers, which is said to be amicably adjusted; and the manners of the English are so congenial with the disposition of this fair heroine, that she is reluctant to withdraw from us. Her life is marked by that quiet unoffending decorum, which equally displays her good sense and knowledge of the world."
