Summary
"Mademoiselle D'Eon, as she was waiting some little time ago, at an inn, to change horses, happened to look in the glass, and perceiving that she had forgotten to shave herself as usual, which is immediately after she gets out of bed--She therefore ordered a barber, and presented, under a very large cap, such a stiff and such a black beard, that the man ran out of the room, told the people in the kitchen that the lady was either a devil or a spy; and though he was threatened to lose the custom of the house, he could not be prevailed on to return to the lathered lady."
